"Education is what survives when what has been learned has been forgotten." - B.F. Skinner
Education is a very important part of life no matter how young or old you are. When we're young we learn to walk, talk, and ride bikes. As we get older, we learn about the stars, writing papers and some other important life lessons along the way. With so many things to remember, it's hard to absorb everything. Luckily, we can relearn the things we can't remember, and we can teach other people things we remember that should be passed on. Some cultures pass things down from generation to generation, so the traditions aren't forgotten. Other cultures have traditions that are fading out with only a few people left to carry them on. It's sad how things eventually fade away, but if we keep teaching maybe somethings can hold out a little longer. I guess sometimes people lose interest in the old want to make new discoveries.
